San Bernardino Sheriff Deputies Find Grenade Launcher During Traffic Collision

San Bernardino Sheriff Deputies investigating a hit and run traffic collision discovered an anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launcher. The device was discovered early Friday morning as deputies were checking out an abandoned vehicle that was involved in a single traffic collision near Glendora Drive and Barton road in Grand Terrace. Deputies say the driver fled on foot. They noticed the rear window was shattered from a bullet. The grenade launcher was found in plain view laying in the back seat. Deputies also say the vehicle was registered to 28-year old Jesus Rodriguez of Colton who is currently on active parole for assault with an automatic weapon. He has not yet been located.
