Several people were gathered at a candlelight vigil when several shots were fired Sunday evening in Ontario. The shooting happened around 7:30pm. Dozens of officers came to the scene in the area of 4th street and Mountain avenue.
Police roped off the area to investigate dozens of shell casings. No one was struck by the gunfire. Police are looking for witnesses to the shooting as well as contacting local businesses to review surveillance footage. According to police– the vigil was for a victim of a murder that happened outside of the city of Ontario.
