Pomona Police chased a murder suspect into the city of Montclair when they got into a shootout with the suspect. An officer involved shooting occurred on Monte Vista avenue south of the 10 freeway around 4pm.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The Montclair Police department is investigating the shooting. Monte Vista remained closed for the investigation. The suspect was wanted for a murder out of Fresno.
