A minivan collided with a big rig on the 10 freeway in Ontario Tuesday morning. A second big rig struck minivan from the rear smashing the vehicle between both rigs. The accident happened on the Eastbound 10 freeway at Archibald avenue around 9:30am.
The San Beranardino County Coroner says 27-year old Rachel Miller from San Dimas, 25-year old Aaron Hardy from San Dimas and a 5-year old from Fontana were all killed in the collision. 1 person in one of the big rigs was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident caused a sigalert and major traffic back-up in the area for hours while CHP officers investigated the accident.
